Ramp verifies your identity during the first transaction to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. This process is a one-time event that allows you to make crypto purchases. An identity document and a selfie are required for the Ramp KYC process.

Steps to verify yourself using the ID

Click Continue and complete the process on your mobile by scanning the QR code.

1. Open the camera on your phone, and scan the QR code to complete the verification.
 
2. Tap the pop-up on your mobile to start the verification process.

1. Click Start, read Passbase's Terms and Conditions, and check the tick box.

Click Continue on the Prepare for your selfie page.

To capture the selfie, allow access to your camera.

Choose the country of issuance for your document and click Continue.

Choose your preferred KYC document, such as Passport, Identity Card, or Driver's license - and upload the photo.

Click Capture photo, click the Yes, Confirm button, and then click Finish.

After successfully submitting identity verification, you can purchase crypto using Ramp.
